Why I Chose Pediatrics:

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a baby in my arms, a toddler in my lap or a child’s hand in mind.  After I graduated nursing school, I became a pediatric nurse and have been caring for children ever since. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, my goal is to help parents and families keep their children healthy and safe from birth to young adulthood. I have the unique opportunity to establish long-term relationships with children and families and be a guiding support while watching them grow. There is absolutely nothing better than hearing a child giggle as you put a stethoscope to their little belly while making funny faces. I plan to spend the rest of my life listening to children laugh and educating families and communities to provide the healthiest environment for them to learn and grow.
