Why I Chose Pediatrics:
I have always loved working with kids. I worked in the church nursery and helped at Bible School as a teenager. While in college, I volunteered in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Georgia Baptist Hospital rocking and feeding babies. After that experience, I knew I wanted to work with children.

Hobbies
Prior to joining Pirate Pediatrics in 2013, I worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in Georgia. I enjoy working with patients and families to develop short and long term treatment plans. Living in Eastern North Carolina, I discovered a love of the water. I spend my spare time with my husband and two daughters, reading, at the beach or watching Alabama football.
